De maatschappelijke erfenis van Johan Cruijff
De Johan Cruyff Foundation steunt en ontwikkelt wereldwijd impactvolle sport- en spelprojecten. Hierbij focussen we ons op kinderen en jongeren voor wie sport niet vanzelfsprekend is.
De Cruyff Foundation doet dit met sportprojecten voor kinderen met een handicap, door het inrichten van de sportieve buitenruimte in aandachtsgebieden en maatschappelijke sportprogramma’s. Hiermee creëert de Cruyff Foundation letterlijke en figuurlijk ruimte.
Ruimte waarin kinderen en jongeren zich kunnen ontwikkelen. Ruimte om vrienden te maken. Ruimte om op te groeien tot gezonde, betrokken individuen. Ruimte om hun toekomst vorm te geven en het beste uit zichzelf te halen.

📹During the World Championship Banked Slalom in Landgraaf🇳🇱, we also spoke with Dean van Kooij! Two weeks ago he was qualified for the 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 and will be competing in Milan.
Together with the @nederlandseskivereniging, the Cruyff Foundation has been creating opportunities in adaptive sports for children and youngsters for many years. With this collaboration, we make winter sports accessible for people like Dean.

In collaboration with the @nederlandseskivereniging, the Cruyff Foundation has proudly supported adaptive sports programmes for children for many years. And Chris was one of them when he was younger.

Together we have opened a brand new Cruyff Court in Amsterdam-Noord. The court was officially opened by football legend Patrick Kluivert himself, together with children from the neighbourhood where his own football journey began 💛⚽️

Cruyff Court Patrick Kluivert features Pure PT Play from @tencategrass.
TenCate Grass has been a loyal partner of the Cruyff Foundation for many years. Together, we create sports surfaces for children around the world from the Netherlands and United Kingdom to Malaysia and China.
Pure PT Play follows the same infill-free design principle as the core Pure PT system. This 28 mm variant is developed specifically for high-traffic spaces where children and local communities play every day.
The playing surface remains consistent across wet, cold and dry conditions. Its unique fibre combination reduces abrasion during intensive use, helping extend the court’s lifespan.

𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐲𝐟𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐊𝐥𝐮𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 is officially open in Amsterdam-Noord, the neighbourhood where Patrick grew up, played street football and first believed in his dream.
Under the guidance of Johan Cruyff, Patrick made his official debut for Ajax in 1994 at just 17 years old. Guided by Johan Cruyff at the start of his career, he was given trust at such a young age. That belief shaped his future. Today, he passes that same belief on to the next generation.
This court is created with our partner @actionnederland. It is the second Cruyff Court in our partnership and the first in the Netherlands. Together, we bring Cruyff Courts to communities across Europe near Action stores, providing safe places for children to play sports.

From the streets of Amsterdam-Noord to the world’s biggest stadiums. Now he is back, as ambassador of the Cruyff Foundation.
On Wednesday 18 February, we open Cruyff Court Patrick Kluivert, right in the neighborhood where he grew up, played street football, and was discovered by Ajax.
A place that used to be grey asphalt is now a vibrant, multifunctional sports and meeting spot, creating real impact for children and the entire community.
Together, we continue Johan Cruyff’s legacy, creating space for children to play, grow and believe in their future.
