De academische legacy van Johan Cruijff
Al meer dan 25 jaar zet Cruyff Education zich in om sporters te ondersteunen om hun sportcarrière te combineren met een maatschappelijke loopbaan, terwijl tegelijkertijd de sportsector verder wordt geprofessionaliseerd. Waar de focus in eerste instantie lag op het opleiden van topsporters, biedt Cruyff Education tegenwoordig programma’s aan voor professionals binnen én buiten de sportsector – op alle niveaus, van beroepsonderwijs tot executive education.
De opleidingen worden aangeboden via Johan Cruyff Institute, Johan Cruyff Academy en Johan Cruyff College. Ze kenmerken zich door praktijkgericht leren, met cases uit de praktijk en professionals uit het werkveld die het onderwijs verzorgen. Alle sporten en aspecten van sportmanagement komen aan bod, en de opleidingen zijn beschikbaar in diverse modaliteiten (online, blended, face-to-face), passend bij uiteenlopende leerbehoeften.
Daarnaast biedt Cruyff Education op maat gemaakte leeroplossingen voor verschillende belanghebbenden in de sportsector, gericht op het versterken van het hele sportecosysteem. We werken samen met sportorganisaties, we stimuleren netwerken en we ontwikkelen gezamenlijk programma’s in samenwerking met academische instellingen wereldwijd.

Jorge is the current Director of National Teams at the Uruguayan Football Association, with over 30 years as a professional coach and 20 years of teaching experience as a @fifa Expert Coach.
Our students and alumni enjoyed the presentation of his book “From the Book to the Field” and learned from his expertise in applied sports management. A truly enriching session!

Our Associate Academic Director, Lukas Dorda, recently visited football clubs from the @pslcanadahq and leading academic institutions in the region.
The main objective of these visits were to explore potential partnerships and innovative learning methodologies to continue contributing to the #SportsIndustry at a global level.

From Amsterdam to #Germany!
Last week, students of the Master in #FootballBusiness in partnership with @fcbarcelona – @barcainnovationhub traveled from Amsterdam to Germany to continue their #StudyTrip week.
In Germany, they got up close with top #Bundesliga International GmbH clubs such as @borussia , @bvb09 and @eintrachtfrankfurt.
They explored the stadiums, experienced immersive activities, and club staff gave them insights into the history and current management of their respective clubs.

What is the Sport Business Job Fair?
It’s a platform for employability and networking, connecting students, academic institutions, and sports organizations in a dynamic and enriching environment.
